DISCOVER OUR GOLF COURSE

G

Golf d’Essendiéras has been in existence since 2009. The 9-hole course is the first part of a larger project. With three PAR 5 holes and a hilly landscape, don’t underestimate the challenges this 9-hole course has to offer.

Because of the originality of its design, golf presents a number of technical challenges.

The course is a real challenge from the first hole and will remain so over the next eight holes, marked by large, undulating greens.

The PAR 36 is situated on the gentle hills of the Domaine and offers spectacular views throughout the game.

Without further ado, come and discover this beautiful course.

About THE9 Holes

Hole 1

PAR 3

Hole 1

Hole 1 can be impressive, but a wedge should be enough to reach the green. If you decide to miss the green, choose the red posts on the left rather than the embankment on the right!

Hole 2

PAR 4

Hole 2

This dogleg left invites players driving 220-230 metres to pass over the woods towards the green. Otherwise, the tee shot is simply towards the bunkers.

Hole 3

PAR 5

Hole 3

Hole 3 is quite wide at the end of the first drive. A ball heading off to the right and arriving between the chestnut trees can quickly make progress difficult. The final challenge comes if the flag is on the top plateau of the green.

Hole 4

PAR 4

Hole 4

Hole 4 offers a magnificent view of the Chateau. The tee shot requires a little fade. The approach to the green is difficult and the ball is hard to stop on this undulating green.

Hole 5

PAR 3

Hole 5

This uphill par 3 may require one more club.

Hole 6

PAR 5

Hole 6

This uphill par 5 may seem long, but apart from the bunker on the right in front of the green, there aren’t many obstacles.

Hole 7

PAR 3

Hole 7

The green of this par 3 is wide, which gives a little margin for this hole, which is quite exposed to the winds. The distance has to be measured carefully, as the road behind the green is out of bounds!

Hole 8

PAR 5

Hole 8

Magnificent par 5 with a horseshoe bunker in the middle of the fairway.

Hole 9

PAR 4

Hole 9

When you still have some energy left after 8 holes, you can consider attacking the green with the driver. For most players, it’s the bunker in the middle of the fairway that’s at stake. It’s a little more difficult when the flag is on the plateau at the back left of the green.
