2025Truffes en fête
On the initiative of the Excideuil Rotary Club, Truffes en Fête will be held for the 13th time on Saturday 25 January at the Domaine d’Essendiéras.
This event, designed to promote the skills of truffle growers in the Excideuil region and to showcase the truffle, a product of excellence from the Périgord region, is also an opportunity for our charity to donate the profits from this event to the Bergonié Foundation to support cancer research.
Who we are

20:00 Gastronomic dinner, Périgord black truffles from starter to dessert
Afternoon programme
Presentation of the best local products, with the participation of our partner :
La Librairie du Château in Excideuil.
2.30pm Opening of the 13th Truffes en Fête in the Salle du Carrousel, Welcome. The €5 entry ticket entitles the holder to take part in the tombola.
3.00 pm Opening of the Flavours Market, with tasting at the end of the Culinary Workshops and entry in the draw for the producers’ tombola…

Our partner La Librairie du Château will be on hand: Gwenaelle Batello will be offering a wide selection of books on cooking and gastronomy.
3.30pm Culinary workshops, followed by tastings: Eric Fourez, Lucette Dubreuil and Patrick Réjou will be on hand to share some gourmet recipes.
Gastronomic evening
19:30 Welcome to the Domaine clubhouse for a gourmet dinner.
20:00 Start of the “Truffle in all its states” dinner, by Chef Nicolas Rousseau.

The Domaine has been offering an indoor padel court since April 2025, open to the general public.

25 Years at Essendiéras
On 24 December 1999, the adventure at Essendiéras began. The estate has become what it is today partly thanks to all the guests over the past 25 years.

In memoriam – Jeroen Bakker
On 13 August 2024, Jeroen Bakker, owner of Domaine d’Essendiéras, passed away at the age of just 70.
